Whitefish Bay Whole Home Remodel
One of our favorite parts of home remodeling is when we can transform existing spaces from unremarkable to amazing – and there were so many on this project! The homeowners’ vision was to maintain the essential character of this Whitefish Bay Tudor – while making each room be a really cool feature.
We updated nearly every aspect of the home, from the kitchen and bedrooms to the bathrooms to the basement; we added a gas fireplace and transformed the existing one.
WE EVEN ADDED A CUSTOM SAUNA. BOOM. COOLNESS. (Err, well, hotness!)
To top it all off, we leveraged the space under the existing stairs for their little guy to play! It was so much fun working with this family and seeing the home come to life!
Project Scope: Entire Home Remodel; including Basement and Custom Sauna
City: Whitefish Bay, WI
Project Duration: 7 Months
Modern meets classic. Clean lines and texture. Dark and light. Patterns and pizazz.
This house is a showcase of how form and function set the scene for a great day.

Dustin’s Pro Tip
“Spending the time with an architect or designer to think through every aspect of your project can ensure that the project is well-scoped and all details thoroughly considered. Without this, your project could evolve several times over. By choosing to work with a contractor who is also a great communicator, you can ensure that you are kept in the loop on what is happening. It is also important to have weekly or bi-weekly check-in meetings for a project of this magnitude to keep everyone in the loop and accountable.”
From the homeowner:
“Blue Harmony Homes are an extraordinary group of people to work with. We joke that our house started out as "a kitchen and two bathrooms" and then ended up being our entire home (not one room untouched). Being an older Whitefish Bay home we needed to redo a lot of our electrical and opening up walls made us realize, "well we might as well do it all now!"
Dustin and team (Greg special shoutout) were incredibly professional, friendly and communicative the entire way. All of their subcontractors were also kind, prompt and professional (SO hard to find nowadays). We had a direct line of communication daily, and while there were a few hiccups like a project of this size is bound to have - they were handled promptly and again with professionalism.
We have worked with contractors in the past on our previous home as well as our business. After doing two renovations we knew we needed someone who we could entirely trust - and we hit the gold mine!
THANK YOU just doesn't do it justice. We refer everyone we know now! But THANK YOU to the entire team. We could not be happier in our dream home.”
