FEATURED PROJECT

West Bend Custom Home

West Bend, Wisconsin

This West Bend custom home reflects a true collaboration between the homeowners and our team.

Inside, the owners were deeply involved in shaping the details that matter most. They worked closely with our team on the cabinet and closet layouts, ensuring every space supported how they live day to day.

Throughout the process, our selections coordinator played a key role in documenting and approving every finish, request, and revision, keeping the project organized, on schedule, and aligned with the owners’ vision.

One of the most meaningful touches is the Claddagh door knocker, purchased by the homeowners years ago in Ireland but never installed, now proudly displayed on the front door.

The result is a home that feels truly personal, thoughtfully designed, beautifully finished, and ready for the memories this family will make for years to come.

Built Smarter for Better Living.

This home wasn’t just designed to look good, it was built to perform too. It’s even certified through Wisconsin’s Focus on Energy New Home Program. With energy-efficient construction and materials throughout, homeowners enjoy lower utility bills, fewer drafts, and a space that stays comfortable in every season. From improved insulation to modern building techniques, every detail works together to create a quieter, healthier, and more efficient home. It’s a difference you can feel every day, and one that continues to pay off year after year.

A Welcoming Front Porch

The front porch is one of the most distinctive features of this home. What began as a simple concrete stoop was transformed into a welcoming, livable space through the use of travertine flooring, a v-groove ceiling, and traditional architectural details that add warmth and character.

A stone step at the front door, added at the homeowners’ request, introduces a subtle, old-home detail that feels right at home in the neighborhood. The light blue ceiling reflects the homeowners’ time in Kentucky, while tapered columns with stone bases anchor the porch visually and connect the home to its surroundings.

Storage Designed for Real Life

Storage in this home goes far beyond standard solutions. Every cabinet was custom built, allowing layouts and proportions to respond directly to how the homeowners live. Closets and utility spaces were designed and installed by Blue Harmony Homes in partnership with Quest, ensuring these hardworking areas received the same level of attention as the home’s more visible spaces. The result is a home where organization feels seamless, intentional, and fully integrated into the overall design.

Custom Craftsmanship Throughout

From the interior trim package to the stair leading to the lower level, this home features extensive custom millwork that brings consistency and character to every level. These details add depth and refinement while supporting the clean, timeless design the homeowners envisioned.

Dustin’s Pro Tip

When planning a custom build, make time for consistent communication. Weekly check-ins, reviewing selections, timelines, and change, can significantly reduce surprises and help keep your project on track. Clear communication between homeowners, builders, and trade partners not only prevents delays but ensures the home comes together exactly as envisioned.
