FEATURED PROJECT

Home Remodel for Entertaining

Hartford, Wisconsin

What makes this project truly special is how the remodel supports both the family's everyday life and their love of entertaining. By opening up space in the kitchen and all the way through to the pool deck, this Hartford home flows seamlessly.

The pool room bar and bathroom are both accessible straight from the pool deck – a major upgrade for entertaining purposes. To up the level of comfort, we added a mini split system to heat and cool the pool room, ensuring it’s perfect year-round.

Inside the dining and kitchen areas, we preserved existing cabinets and tile flooring. We were able to rework, repaint and rejuvenate within budget, rather than starting from scratch.

Every update was designed to reflect how the family lives and connects. Even the family dog got an upgraded cozy retreat under the staircase, a sweet whimsical touch to this welcoming home.

Dustin’s Pro Tip

“The interior and exterior of your home should complement how you live your daily life. They should also support how you and your family engage with these spaces when you are entertaining… if that’s your thing! By transforming an existing space to open directly to their pool deck, transitioning a tired existing bathroom to also open from the pool deck, and creating a flow from the kitchen to the pool, we were able to create a series of spaces that complement how this family lives in their home and also supports how they entertain in their home.“
